Question : Cisco switchport trunk 2948 Switch

I have switching network consisting of 2 catalyst 3500 series switches. We use the switchport trunk command to connect the vlans thru the fiber ports and they are working correctly. We are adding a Cisco 2948GL series switch to the mix. The 2948GL does not have a switchport command available. Is there a way to set up the 2948GL to work with the 3500 using something similiar to the switchport command or is there a similar command?
