Question : nprint and windows xp

I just upgraded a workstation from w98 to xppro and realised it had a printer attached.  nptwin95.exe doesn't seem to work.  Is there a xp version of same?

I have seen mention of ntprint for windows NT.  Is this likely to work & if so, how do you install it?

PS we don't use ndps and don't really want to.

Answer : nprint and windows xp

do yourself a favor - get a hardware print server.

If you have an HP printer, then you have the internal JetDirect line.

If it's not, then use the external JetDirect line.

advantage:  printer is operational even if computer is turned off.

advantage:  does not slow the computer down when someone prints.
