Question : NBTSTAT results

can someone explain to me the results of NBTSTAT, I mean the columns: Name,Type,Status. ??
and how to use it to get these info from a remote computer

yes that is correct
The name refers to the name of the pc/workgroup name/domain name
The type determine whether its a pc (unique)/workgroup name(group)/domain name(Group)
The bit in square brackets after the name shows the service as per the email above
