Question : Cisco 7960 phone - Can't answer secondary calls
I have a few Cisco 7960 phones. They are six line phones. On one phone in particular, the user acts as support for several other line appearances on the phone. In other words, the first line is configured as her line, and the remaining five lines are configured with the extensions of the people she supports as shared line appearances. If a call comes in to one of the people she supports, she can answer it and deal with it, but if another call comes in at the same time for one of the others she supports, there is no "answer" option on the soft key menu. I'm wondering if because I have all 6 of the lines configured, it is not letting it act as a multi-line phone anymore. This same phone has the expansion module which is just programmed with a bunch of speed dials. Any way around this problem? Thanks!
Answer : Cisco 7960 phone - Can't answer secondary calls
Is the user able to answer the second call by pressing the relevant line button? If not, what happens when they do press the button?
