Question : permission to use this network resource

Hi, I have a home network of 3 computers. Two are running XP Home and the other 95. When I try to access the files on one of the XP machines(NEW) from either the other XP(EVESHAM) or the 95(RICHARD), it says access denied when accessing Windows, Program files or documents and settings for example e.g.

Z:\Program Flies is not accessible

Access is denied

and.....

\\New\c\Program Files is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.

Access is denied.

Is there a setting I need to change to gain access to these folders?

I have the built in XP firewalls disabled and disabled Mcafee firewall.

They all have the same work group and can all see each other.

I'm using TCP/IP for the internet sharing and netbeui for the file sharing.

could this be anything to do with it-

This is the error message that I am getting-

Why does it say Netbios over TCP/IP disabled when It is enabled under wins in TCP/IP propertes?

Thanks in advance for any help given,

Answer : permission to use this network resource

First, try to disable simple file sharing:

Second, with peer-to-peer file sharing, you must use a user account and password that is available to all machines and give that account access to the files.

Third, you mention you are using NetBEUI for files sharing?  I assume that means you installed NetBEUI on the XP machines since it is not included by default?

Last....What says NetBIOS over TCP/IP is disabled?  You say it is enabled in WINS.  Where is it telling you that it is disabled?
