Question : "login failure: the target account name is incorrect" when using the unc path

Hi

I am getting the error "login failure: the target account name is incorrect" when using the unc path to access the server. using the ip address and i dont have a problem i can access all the shares
I get the same error if i try to access the web server from the DC or a pc.
logged into an a account that is a member of the domain administrator
If i use the ip address i can access any shares on the server without any problems
CAn access the web page ok using the http://servername/weblink
when using a net view \\servername get the error 5 access denied BUT if i use the ip adress all the shares are listed.
Dont have any error's in the event view. No problems with replication.
