Question : dcdiag \test:dns

Hi experts
This is a copy of A dcdiag \test:dns would someone have a look at it and tell me what you think
I am only a novice when it comes to this sort of thing but I think that the DNS address that the test is quarrying is the wrong address as it not an address from the IP scope that we use on our network
As we use the 192.168.10.x range
I have also included an IPconfig at the bottom of the question
Now I could be wrong as I said I am only a novice at this
And there could be a perfectly good resign it is testing this address
If someone could explain what is going on here I would be most grateful
Thanks in advance
If you need any more info i would be happy to post it

Answer : dcdiag \test:dns

Hi robbie,

That sounds like a good idea.  You'll have to do a netdiag /fix after to re-set-up the forest dns zones, but I think that's a plan.

Hey, before you do anything like that though, get a good and full backup.  You know?  Protect what you got already.

Good Luck,
