Question : Configure DHCP to Exclude MAC range
We have 2 nets locally, one for data and one for voice and 2 DHCP servers. On the data net I want to exclude a range of MAC's so that they get their assignment from the other DHCP server, that gateway's to the data net.
So, on the DHCP server (Windows Server 2008) how can I exclude a group of MAC addresses, starting with '004', from receiving assignments from that server?
Thanks.
Answer : Configure DHCP to Exclude MAC range
Does anyone know if the "DHCP Server Callout DLL for MAC Address based filtering" can DENY only based on just the 1st few characters of the MAC address? All of our Polycoms start with '004'.
