Question : LDAP / AD config on InstaGate Pro
I'm trying to set up LDAP to Active Directory to populate user groups on my InstaGate Pro.
I'm pretty sure I've got all the fields filled in correctly and have set up everything properly but when I apply the changes I'm getting the error below. Any idea what it means? Also, does anyone know if maybe LDAP with SSL supported on this box? I'd prefer that over plain LDAP.
Could not apply changes to Remote Authentication.
# Unable to join Active Directory Server.
# Unknown error:failed to join domain: nt_status_name_too_long
So far I've tried restarting the box and I've confirmed that AD can be queried with LDAP using the service account I set up.
The LDAP config looks like this:
Server Address:
Realm:
Group filter: webaccess (I have several AD groups set up with this as a prefix)
Username: instagateuser
Password
Answer : LDAP / AD config on InstaGate Pro
What is the name of the system? That error may be returned if the name of the system is longer than 15 characters.
