Question : w2k vpn server and cisco 2501 router

Im trying to setup a classroom lab environment with 2 2501 cisco routers connected serially with DTE/DCE to simulate a WAN connection. i want to connect a W2k server configured to be a RAS/VPN server to a hub-to-router (Ethernet port)on one of the routers. Can it be done? If so, please tell me how. If not, what would be the best alternative?

appreceiate it very much!!!

Answer : w2k vpn server and cisco 2501 router

Should be quite simple. If you have the two routers talking to each other, and put a hub on each Ethernet port, plug the VPN server in the far side hub and the PC's in the near side. You might want to put two NIC's on the VPN server with yet a third hub acting as the local LAN that you want to access from the clients on the near side.

As long as the two ethernet ports are on different subnets, and the routers are updating their route tables, that would be the extent of it.

What specific information do you need? Router configs? Setup server? Soup-to-nuts with IP addresses, subnet masks, default gateways, routing protocols??
