Question : disconnect yahoo/MSN Messanger

My problem is with yahoo/MSN messanger.
when I am trying to connect it is working fine for just 3-4 minuts. after it will dissconnect automatically.
i am using a proxy server (wingate to share internet) and yahoo/MSN is connected using socks V.
My server is NT 4.0 and all the clients are win95
plz help
