Question : Nortel i2004 IP Phone Manual Firmware Upgrade
Hello,
I have several i2004 IP phones which are not able to connect to our BCM 400 and download the latest firmware. A lot of Nortel documents reference the configuration of a TFTP server during the initial setup of the phone however I do not have that option. I have been attempting to "trick" the phone to look at my local machine (running TFTP server) for the latest firmware but that isn't working. I can see the connection attempt (from phone to workstation) come in when looking through Wireshark (Ethereal).
The .cfg file which is supposed to be availble via the Nortel site isn't there so I am manually creating that to point to the firmware .bin file. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
