In the Start - Program Menu, you should have a folder called Apache HTTP Server XXXXX on the program liste.
If not try to reinstall, of course you need administrator privileges to register apache 2 windows service.
Then you will be able to access sub folder Control Apache Server and then start the Apache Service Monitor.
This useful tool will appear in the windows taskbar and using it you will be able to start or stop Apache.
Anyway a windows service should also be installed call Apache2
Go in the Administration Tools menu and in Services manager, then you will be able to start and stop a service called Apache2
Default installation folder for Apache is : c:\Program Files\Apache Group
If apache doesn't start, you should have a look on a folder called logs on c:\Program Files\Apache Group and edit the file error.log to try to identify the problem !
