Question : Vista SP1 on a domain - Routing Problem

I have just put our first Vista SP1 notebook on to our domain ( not by choice) but I am having trouble with the internet and outlook not receiving emails.
I can add in our Proxy and it fixes the problem, but would prefer not to as he uses the notebook on the road with a Telstra air card.
I have figured out that it is a routing problem and I added a route (Route add 165.227.85.70 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.0.101) into our login script and it semi fixed the problem but its like the route drops out now and then and I need a more solid fix.

We have had vista without sp1 working fine in the past from memory and i think its got somthing to do with SP1?
We now have two notebooks doing the same thing

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Regards,
