Question : TCP perfromance over vsat

hi,

i have a problem with getting citrix and AD to run fast enough

on my VSAT connection. On researching it seems like there are

issues with TCP when running over high capacity long delay

networks.

There is apparently an RFC1323 that specifies tuning some TCP

options such as Large window sizes, fast retransmission and

fast recovery, Selective Acknowledgements and Path maximum

Retransmission Units that need to be enabled to make TCP work

better over VSAT.

May you please assist me with finding out exactly where in the

registry these options are, if they are not there where and how

to add them, and how to set them. Any other information

relevant to my situation even not addressing my requests is

greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Answer : TCP perfromance over vsat

You can use Dr. TCP utility to adjust these values without digging around the registry:
