Run the DNS tool. Right click the DNS server, Properties, Forwarders tab. Add the DNS addresses from your ISP there.
When troubleshooting your internet connection, the key is to isolate the cause of the problem. I.e, are you not getting name resolution, or is the problem traffic not getting through? To find out, try and ping
www.google.com or something. If it resolves the name to an IP, but does not respond, the problem is traffic. If you don't get an IP, its a DNS problem.
