Question : Advantage and disadvantage of client-server structure?

Answer : Advantage and disadvantage of client-server structure?

Here goes some tips.
Advantages:
1st- distributed processing (load balancing).
2nd- the more you increase the number of stations the more powerfull you turn the system (unlike centralized processing).
3rd- openess (hw and sw).
4th- more possibilities of choice of hw and sw.
Disadvantages:
1st- more complex administration. You have to invest in centralized admin tools.
2nd- greater dificulty in implementing good security policies.
Networks are (at least, they used to be) cheaper than the equivalent centralized systems.
