Question : kazaa packet analysis

Hello all,

Using Ethereal, I am trying to capture kazaa packets and analyse.
I am unable to see the “Initial Handshake” of the Kazaa client with the central server in the packets captured. Could anybody help me with the same.

I don't think the Kazaa network has a single central server. Also, according to http://www.infoanarchy.org/wiki/wiki.pl?FastTrack encryption is being used.

This paper http://people.cs.uchicago.edu/~matei/PAPERS/kazaa.pdf shows an investigation into how the protocol works.
