Question : How do I setup RRAS to assign a DHCP address to VPN clients?

Here's what's happening.  I don't know what changed, but about a week ago, all of my PPTP VPN users were complaining that they lost access to all network resources.  They are able to connect to the VPN Server, but once connected, they cannot access email, browse the Internet, access network shares, etc.  While troubleshooting, I discovered that, in fact, they are able to authenticate thru the VPN, but DHCP is not assigning IP addresses to the VPN clients.  When I do IPCONFIG /all to check the IP for the PPP VPN adapter, it gives a Public IP (something like: IP - 169.254.241.236, SM - 255.255.255.255, DG - 169.254.241.236).  DNS and WINS IP's are correctly assigned.  All VPN clients were getting a DHCP address from the DHCP server, but now it's not working.  Can you tell me why DHCP suddenly stopped issuing private IP addresses to VPN clients?

Fig 20 Onwards will explain the RRAS config for DHCP.

If your local users work fine, then this should fix a RRAS/VPN issue.
