Question : Netware 5.1 and NMAS

We have Netware 5.1 and NDS 8.5.
We have windows 2000 Pro. machines with novell client 4.9
I was looking in the advanced propertes of Novell clients and found an NMAS tab/sequences  and I can see enhanced password.  Is this similar to Windows Complex password? I have consoleone where do I go to implement enhanced password?
