Question : AOL Error Message COF 1702 using Firefiox 3.5
Normally, when I open Firefox, I'm taken to the AOL hompage. A click on the "My Mail" icon there brings me immediately to my mail.
This AM, when opening FF I was taken to the AOL sign-in page. My username was in place but I had to type in my password. I also clicked the "remember" box. When I tried to log-in I was then taken to an FF page that told me there was a connection problem. A click on the "try again" button there brought me to an AOL error page, cited above.
(I was successful in getting to my mail iusing IE and Safari.)
Continued no luck in FF. Finally, I tried to sign in to AOL again WITHOUT checking the "remember" box, which brought me to my mail. As long as I keep FF open, if I close AOL, but open it again, I'm brought directly to my mail.
If, however, I close FF and open it again--same problem with getting to my mail page.
Help!
Thanks.
