Question : zwsreg 6.5 imports duplicate workstations

Periodically zwsreg will import a duplicate workstation but add a 1 after the name  for example:

Workstation    and   then  Workstation1

It seems to happen most with our Dell 600 laptops.  I figured it had something to do with the fact that their is a wireless card that is on, but not connected. (Our workstations are hardwired with the built in network card).

However the same thing just happened to one our desktops which only has one card.

How do I stop the duplicates!!!   Thanks for your help.

Is the zwsreg.exe running from the login script?  Is the workstation import policy set at the top of the tree, and the search policy set to search all the way up, or is it set at an OU level?  

If zwsreg runs from the login script, and the user is in a context that has a different import policy defined, then this might occur.

Try turning on workstation import logging to see if you can catch why it's happening.
