Question : Resolving incorrect IP address to fully qualified domain name
When I ping mail.quantumsilicones.com from any server in my name it resolves to 64.83.7.246 which is incorrect. The correct IP is 64.83.7.245.
However, when I do alookup on DNS Stuff or another domain the ip address is resolved correctly.
I have no static records in DNS and did a ROUTE PRINT to see if there was a static entry, but nothing. I rebooted one of the DC's and that did not resolve the issue either.
I checked the HOSTS and LMHOSTS filess and they do not contain statis entries either..
Anyone know where else I can look to figure out how is it is resolving the wrong IP address?
