Question : FTP stops working after a few minutes

My FTP server is Windows 2003, IIS6.  Everything works fine for a few minutes then stops working.  If I make a network settings change like adding or removing DNS settings it works again for a few minutes.  There are no errors on the server.

This server is in the DMZ.  I have 2 NIC cards.  One has a external address and one has an internal address.

The error I get on the client is:  Fftp:  connect  :Unknown error number

I also tried FileZilla as my FTP server but the same thing happens.

Answer : FTP stops working after a few minutes

The problem was having a multi-homed server.  Once we unplugged the internal card all the issues resolved.
