Question : I need change SMTP configuration from my ISP to My SMTP

I have IMSS (Spam Filter) Server installed into windows server 2003 Enterprise. My ISP provide me public IP 212.1.1.116 and it's resolved as (smtp.MyCom.com).
Also I have other server for Exchange 2003 Enterprise.

In Fire wall the MAP table is
212.1.1.116  <-to-> 172.16.0.116 (IMSS Server)
212.1.1.117  <-to-> 172.16.0.117 (Exchange 2003 Server)
And for testing I open ALL Port in fire wall

All incoming email message going to IMSS then if it's not SPAM its move to Exchange server.

My Exchange Server SMTP configuration is (smtp.MyISP.net) it's working very slowly but if I change that to (smtp.MyCom.com) all outgoing Email stopped and all the time I can receive the Emails.

I need change SMTP configuration to (smtp.MyCom.com). I don't know from where I should start.

Q.
What the software requirement, new configuration in firewall, any sitting changes to IMSS or Exchange?

Answer : I need change SMTP configuration from my ISP to My SMTP

ok where it says "SMTP Server domain" from your first screen shot enter your domain name like maildomain.com for myemailaddress@maildomain.com

for the "mail queue" enter a path on the local server with sufficent drive space.

in the "Connection" tab, under "Conection Controle"

select the "Single Computer" bullet point.

In the Text box below that enter the internal IP address of your mailserver "172.16.0.117" then click the ">>" button to add this IP address to this list.

Leave the rest as it was.

This should help!

thanks
