Question : Cannot Remote Desktop into workstation.

Hello,

I am not able to remote desktop to my main workstation.  This happened suddenly and I have not made any changes.  I use to be able to:

Access it from my mac
Access it from any machine on my domain (4 total)

I can:
Ping everything on my network out.

I cannot:
Ping my workstation from any other machine, it times out.

I have released and renewed my ip address on the machine.
I tried to connect through ip but doesn't make a difference, it can't be pinged from other machines.
I confirmed remote desktop is still enabled
I confirmed firewall is still turned off.
I ran: netsh int ip reset reset.log, which I found as a solution, but no change.

Please help, this is driving me batty.

Answer : Cannot Remote Desktop into workstation.

Disable your antivirus temporarily.  Does it resolve the issue?  The only update that strikes me as even possible to have caused this is 950762 - it deals with multicasts which is network related.  Though it seems unlikely, because I don't think multicasts are involved in RDP.
