Question : Error 930 The authentication server did not respond to....

I have a remote client that dials into a Win2000 member server that is in a different subnet from our PDC. Everything worked fine when our PDC was Win NT 4.0
We have since upgraded our PDC to Win2000 Server and now the client cannot get authenticated(error 930) I have tried the fixes technet suggests, but I'm about out of ideas. I'm thinking there must be some extra security settings or something, but I don't know where. Anyone have any more ideas?  Thank you.
