Question : Astersk one second silence audio problem
I don't know where the problem is coming from. It is not network latency. I is not the asterisk itself because all the sip phones work great. It is noticed only when using any port of the WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM800P Board 1" in any incoming or outgoing call using a Panasonic PBX.
I thought it was the echo canceling thing or the tx/rxgain but none of that seems to have any effect on the problem.
Can make and receive calls but just that annoying ticking sound you hear while talking if there is no voice traffic the ticking silence goes away on pink noise ( i mean that hissing noise you her on the speaker when there is silence).
I dont see any warnings in the CLI but I think there is something to do with sound processing and the Digium card.
Please help.
Thank you
