HI.
I am using Windows Server 2003 to manage hundreds of different users who have Windows XP Pro. I can not possibly go to each machine and run disk cleanup, disk defrag, and chkdsk. I also do not want them to have any user interaction to run these commands themselves!
I read in the KB here that scripts can be assigned to GPO's to perform these task at scheduled times of the day. But I do not know how to write scripts.
I need more information on how to write scripts or maybe even how to get one that is written already. Please provide any references that would help. Unfortunitly I don't know anyone that writes scripts at this time, but hopefully its not too difficult to learn how to write one for a few repair commands.
