Answer : Bounce server

They are often called an "open proxy" too. It's a proxy server at the perimeter of a network that isn't setup correctly and allows connections to the proxy from the outside. From there you can make connections to other servers and it appears you are coming from the open proxy (bounce) server.


You can also "bounce a server" which means to reboot it. (power down, then power up)
