Question : Migrating Roaming Profiles

With the machine already having the users profile created.  Once I have associated the user to the roaming profile package and I login under that user, it recreates the profile with a username.000 profile.  I was hoping it would use the profile of the user already on the machine.  The profiles that are on the machines were created in a domain, however the roaming profiles are not.  How do I migrate the roaming profile to use the profile already created?

yep - I figured as much.  I have the same problem on Ghosted machines too.

strange enough, I don't have this problem on ZENworks imaged machines.

you might try saving the information in the original profiles someplace, deleting the users and the original and new profiles.

then having them log back in to recreate a new profile.

then copy the profile information back to that user (as Administrator).

messy, but will get rid of the profile.000 problem and allow the DLU to work.
