Question : Users connected to your computer
|
|
Sometimes when I go to shutdown my PC, I get a message that there are x users connected to my computer, do I want to disconnect them - (or something along those lines).
I am using Win95 on an NT4 network using MS Eschange 5, and I have no resources shared. Boffins tell me this can't happen, but it does. They tell me not to worry but I do. It also happens to other users ...
Can anyone tell me how this happens? How can I stop it?

Thanks. Sorry it took me so long to get back to this - fighting other fires ... I have found that the connection each time I have intercepted on is actually the servers "polling" the PC's - the connection is the $IPC share on the servers.
I have tried downloading the program suggested - without luck so far, but I'll keep trying.
