Question : use a wireless router as repeater without wires

Hi
I have a 4 story house ( basement) , I have a D-Link wireless router for my internet and I also Have a spear wireless router a linksys that I want to use to multiply the wireless signal only from the D-link router
what are the settings necessary in the linksys router to be able to duplicate the signal
any comments will be very much appreciated

Answer : use a wireless router as repeater without wires

You cannot convert a router into a repeater, first of all, and second, the Dlink states that it will not communicate with anything but a DLink repeater -- not a router, but a repeater.  Therefore, this will never work.  Connect the two by a real ethernet cable and they will work, but not as wireless repeater.
