Question : Cisco 2600 Rommon mode issue

Hello Team,

Greetings to you. I am facing an issue while copying the image through x-modem.
I have a cisco 2600 router. It was in rommon mode ,there were no image on the flash.so i tried to copy the image through xmodem.
Steps i followed

1. The router was in rommon mode
2.To select a 115200 baudrate ,instead of confreg & enter ,i gave confreg 11500.& reset the router.
now,i am not able to login to the router through hyperterminal.I tried all the baudrates.

Could you please tell me,is there a way to reset the confreg value back to rommon .

Since it's critical, could you please respond at the earliest.

Thanks & Regards,
Perumal

Answer : Cisco 2600 Rommon mode issue

You have most likely changed not only the baud rate, but also the stop bits and parity. If you really think it's just the baud rate, the 2600 has a jumper that will reset the baud rate to 9600. If that doesn't do it, the easiest way to get back in is to reset the NVRAM using the "reset" jumper.
