Question : NW4.11: Where do I find my current Serial #?

I want to activate an additive license I recently purchased, but I don't know where to look for my current serial number.

The LAN was in place before me and no one seems to have the paperwork.

Answer : NW4.11: Where do I find my current Serial #?

Go to www.novell.com/products/activation fill out the form where it asks for the product serial number put in the number off the back of the license disk. One you submit this form Novell will send you a activation code and you unluck your license disk using a utility on the disk called nunlock. Once you enter the activation code in nunlock and the disk is activated then go to install on the server console and select add liscense put the disk in the a: drive and follow the instructions.
