Question : domain name and mail server domain

Hi all,

i have just transferred my domain to another web host and now our exchange server is not recieving emails from that domain,

i looked up the domain on www.mxtoolbox.com
and i can see that the nameserver is pointing to the new web host

my question is how do i send web requests to the web host and emails to another name server

do i create a subdomain, mail.mydomain.co.uk and foward that address to my exchange server

how do domains work with regards to sending emails one way and web requests the other way

Answer : domain name and mail server domain

Have you tried logging in to the control panel for your domain account (if they give you that facility)?  Maybe you can after all do it from there and its just the contact monkies that can not provide support.
