Question : Wireless Network Connection Radio is disabled

Hello again.
Gateway 7326GZ laptop with fresh install of XP home with all drivers and updates.

Using the Broadcom Wireless Configuration utility, while highlighting icon in panel with cursor it says,
"Wireless Network Connection Radio is disabled"

After clicknig on icon and box pops up, it shows no networks.
Clicking Advanced, it opens Wireless Config Utility.

Under Diagnostics Tab:
ran all tests and they passed.

Under Wireless Networks Tab:
__Let this tool mange wireless settitngs
__Enable Radio

Both of these are checked, and no available networks are shown.

Device Manager has no problems.

Thank You,

Answer : Wireless Network Connection Radio is disabled

Not certain, but check:

1.  Windows "Wireless Zero Configuration" Service.  If it is running, it may be interfering with the broadcom client.

2.  Check your hardware (BIOS) and see if the radio on the motherboard is enabled or disabled.
