Question : Append a Hostname to IP Address in Windows XP DNS Cache
I am currently working with Citrix Streaming/Application Isolation, and the updated HOSTS file in the isolated environment is not being read within the isolated environment. Therefore, I am looking to see if there is a way I can update/append to the local DNS cache on my Application Isolation session. I have seen articles on NBTSTAT and NETSH INT IP, but I don't think they will do what I want. I am looking to cache or append to the local DNS table.
As always, thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer. :-)
