Question : Is it posible to use Wake on Lan with mobile broadband?

I am using Vodafone Mobile Connect with a Huawei K3565 USB modem.

Is it possible to use Wake on Lan with this device?

When Computer is powered down, power remains on USB sockets, so modem is still receiving power. The PC supports Wol on its ethernet port (and that works fine) but I want to use the computer in a location where only mobile broadband is available.

My assumption would be that (if it is anything like Verizon's MB) the system would need to be on so the software can connect you to the MB service. Verizon has their connection manager that makes the connection for you when you're ready to use it - so it is not always on and connected like a normal broadband connection would be (cable/dsl) to receive the WoL signal.
