Question : Network Drive error to remote server

One of my users computer cannot access the network share anymore that is housed at a different site on a Server. He keeps receiving the message: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

But the system is able to ping the remote server ip address and name. I don't believe anyone else with access to this drive is having an issue except for this particular user and he has all rights to this network share/drive on the remote server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Answer : Network Drive error to remote server

I've seen this issue cause due to computers that did not have the proper WINS settings for their domain. You might want to make sure that this system is set as others that are able to log on.
While you're in the networking settings area of the affected system, you should also make sure that the DNS settings are correct.
