Question : Can i make three Wireless routers act as one?

Hi I have upgraded my  home wireless network.
With the help of ebay i now have 2 more Intel PRO/Wireless 5000 access points which brings my total to 3, I needed them as i live in an old farmhouse and these access points dont have very good wall penatration.

Now that I have 3 Access Points - AP's ...

Is it possible for me to setup all three AP's so that they comunicate with each other and behave as if they where 1 AP, its mostly for internet sharing but also for the odd file transfer when i cant be bothered to carry My Maxtor from PC to PC.

Example: Lets say I have PC's A,B,C, and Access Points 1,2,3 and that AP 1, is plugged into the ADSL Router.

PC A is in range of AP 1 and so has a perfect internet connection, but is out of range with AP's 2 & 3
PC B is in range of AP 2 but not 1 or 3
PC C is in range of AP 3 but not 1 or 2

And Access Points 1,2 & 3 are all in range of each other.

So can i have a setup like this, or have i completley misunderstood the concept of wireless networking?

Any advice, suggestions or a full blown soloution would be appriciated. If you would like more detail on the hardware that i am using please ask.

r.e. "...Do I need a router?"

No.  You have one.   If you want to run Cat-5 to your Access Points all you need is an inexpensive switch.   Just plug the router & the access points into the switch.
