Question : Messages in Database

I found this tutorial http://flurdy.com/docs/postfix/ wich was VERY usefull to some tests Im making.
Unfortunelly I decided to try a step further, and I would like to have my messages in the database. Is it possible?

What type database that you would like to use? Mysql or ldap ?
