Question : How to determine if a printer is NDPS ready
|
|
Ok, I know this is pretty old technology with iPrint around. I'm transitioning from a NDS queue-based printing to NDPS.
My big question is How do I determine if the Network Printer or HP JetDirect Print Server I have has this capability (has built-in print agent)???
Here's my list... - HP JetDirect 170x (printer server) - HP JetDirect EX Plus (older printer server) - Xerox DocuColor 4LP (has built in NIC) - HP 4000TN (has built in NIC) - HP 4050N (has built in NIC)
Yes, 180 points at hand.

Hi exhaust,
If you can print to all the printers via TCP/IP, you should be able to set them as NDPS printers.
Good Luck.
