Question : "Invalid Name Server"

I am playing around in my test lab and decided to configure my own Authorative Name Servers to route a few domains that I own. I loaded up 2 servers with Windows 2003, put them both on a domain and configured DNS. I then Created a new "Primary Forward Lookup Zone" for my internet domain, mydomain.com. I edited the SOA and NS records to reflect the FQDN of the server and created a test A record of foo.mydomain.com

I thought that the next step was to go to my registrar and enter the FQDN's of my new NS servers. In this case the registrar is Dotster. However this is where I hit a brick wall. When I try to register my NS servers, Dotster tells me, "Unable to Change Name Servers with Registry, or invalid Name Server."

Am I supposed to register my Name servers with some central authoraty?

Answer : "Invalid Name Server"
