Question : DNS server - AD replication issues
Hello all I have three domain controllers. I ran netdiag on one of them and got DNS test failed, the computer addresses were unable to register.....etc I checked at the netlogon.dns file and found many entries regarding our OLD domain name, so changed all those entries to our NEW domain name. Ran netdiag and started to have AD replication issues:
Testing server: Bur\SERV07 Starting test: Replications REPLICATION LATENCY WARNING SERV07: This replication path was preempted by higher priority work. from SERV01 to SERV07 etc
If I put the original netlogon.dns back everything comes to normal i.e AD replication goes smooth except DNS test faiure. I want to fix this netlogon.dns where is it getting the updates from?? Help plz
