Question : Network Credentials doesn't work on Vista
|
|
Under Windows XP:
When I use SQL Server Management Studio to Connect a SQL 2000 database in another domain, I use Network Credentials (Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Advanced -> Manage Passwords) to authenticate. This works fine, in this case I don't need to use the sa-account (SQL database only accepts integrated windows security)
Under Vista: I try the same under Vista but now it doesn't work -> error 40: could not open a connection to SQL Server
Is there a workaround without using the sa-account?
