Question : Kazaa...Router...Firewall

Hi all,
I recently bought a router for a small office kinda place.. We have bradband connection there, a network-everywhere wireless router, wi-fi laptops.I've succesfully connected everything to work basically but know i need some advanced setting to CREATE a firewall(which was why i bought a router instead of a hub) that allows kazaa download at optimum speed.

Right now i have no sort of firewall setup. On a pc, I could download a file through KLR(Kazaa lite resurection) at 80kbps. but if i go through the router the file download at about 5kbps. When pause the download and switch the connection, I still get these low speeds through the router. Tried it several times on different computers. i think browsing/downloading through internet explorer is still as fast. What can i do about this.
I would also like to block some uneccesary ports... KLR can easily be configured to use any specified port.

And one more thing, how do i get the workstations and wi-fi laptops to share files. Like they should be able to access each others files through "My Network Places".
I DON"T NECCESSARILY need WEP security or to restrict any special computer from the net.

What I DO need is the specific lame man options i need to change to achieve this.

Addecold...

Answer : Kazaa...Router...Firewall

As for your KRL issue... You need to access your routers config (to do so, open Internet Explorer, then type either "192.168.1.1" or "192.168.1.0" and press enter and enter username/password), then navigate to the port forwarding page and forward one or more ports to the IP address of the computer running KLR (to determine your IP, open the Command Prompt (start->Run->"cmd"->OK) then type "ipconfig" and press enter).

As for sharing files over your LAN, you need to install the "Client for Microsoft Networks", if it is not already installed, then check the box that says "Allow file and print sharing"  (this will vary with your OS...).  To do this, open your Network Connections, or click Network from the Control panel, then right-click your LAN connection and select properties.  From there, you can install the MS Client and configure file and print sharing.  Once this is done, you will need to share a drive/folder/file.  To do this, open Windows Explorer and right click the resource.  Select "Sharing", then configure your share.
