Question : Attempted to save a Printer State Reason in a Buffer object

In my server error log file I see this over and over for a new printer that has been installed on the server. Does anyone know what it means?

According to this:
http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/10089128.htm
it's only supposed to happen once, and the attribut should be gone.
I'm fairly certain NDPSM version 3.1 is dated later than NOV2003, since I'm running on version 3.01 and it's dated August, 2004...
Is there anything unique about this printer over other printers that were installed before it, other than the fact that its molecules occupy a different set of loci? Is it, for instance, a different model, a different make, connected via wireless instead of 10-baseT, using a Lexmark printserver card as opposed to an external JetDirect, or something else obvious like that that we can point fingers at? Something that might be repetitively repeating itself over and over in redundant fashion?
