Question : Wpad.dat proxy.pac using DHCP

I needs clear cut method for implementing auto proxy config by DHCP.
SO far I understand i need to do the following.
Creat wpad.dat from proxy.pac (how do i do this??? i dont have a proxy.pac yet)
place wpad.dat into root of default website on proxy server.
create DNS entry wpad.mydomain.local pointing to IP address of proxy server.
Test by browsing http://wpad.mydomain.local/wpad.dat to see if it can be read.
Configure DHCP option specifying wpad auto proxy is being used (also unsure which option this is).
can anyone give me details, thanks.
PS: I need to have about 4 proxy eclusions so assume this needs to be specified within the proxy.pac/wpad.dat ?
