Question : Deletions not replicating

When deleting a user from the domino directory the delete does not replicate to all servers in my domain
The users in question are being deleted on a domino6.5 server and it is replicated to all servers within my domain except my domion 8.5 servers.
It only seems to be the deletions that are not replicating.  If I add someone to a group or create a new user everything works fine

Maybe the database is corrupt.  Could shut down the servers and OS-level file-copy from the 6.5 server to the 8.5 servers.  Offline fixup, compact and updall on names.nsf wouldn't hurt.
